I painted these beautiful waterlilies that were in a garden pond at Barker Creek Nursery near Traverse City, MI. I enjoyed capturing the textures and variety of colors within the lilypads and surrounding vegetation. The pink waterlilies are rarely seen in this area, so I wanted to the focus on them.
