This pond at Barker Creek Nursery & Landscaping outside Traverse City, Michigan, along with the surrounding plants and distant landscape, captured my attention while Plein Air painting in watercolor. I liked the view so much, that I painted it again with acrylics. This painting has a natural oak floating frame that helps bring out the intensity of colors found in this scene.
